Grades & Transcripts
To view your Summer Term grades or have BU transcripts sent to your school or prospective colleges, just follow the instructions below. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Grades
Students may view and print their grade reports using the Student Link. To access the Student Link, you need your BU ID number and Kerberos password. If you are unable to access the Student Link, contact our office at 617-353-1378 or at summerhs@bu.edu.
Transcripts
To view or order an official transcript, use the "Transcript Preview and Ordering" option under the "Academics" tab on the Student Link. You need your BU ID number and Kerberos password. The cost of ordering an official transcript using the Student Link is currently $4 per copy, payable by credit card only.
Requests for transcripts may also be made in writing, either by letter or by completing a Transcript Request Form available at the Office of the University Registrar. Be sure to include the following information in your written request: full name, including any former names; signature; Boston University ID number or Social Security number; schools attended and dates; degrees awarded; and complete address of transcript destination(s).
The cost of ordering an official transcript in writing is $6 per copy. Payment can be made by check, MasterCard, VISA, or Discover, and must accompany the request. Processing time for transcript requests received by mail is two to three business days. Transcripts can be sent by FedEx for an additional $19 per destination within the continental United States. For the cost of expedited shipping to other destinations, please contact the Transcript Department at 617-353-1201.
Official and unofficial transcripts can be obtained in person at the Office of the University Registrar during regular business hours. A valid photo ID is required. There is no charge for unofficial transcripts. Please note that the Office of the University Registrar does not mail unofficial transcripts.
