RIA Checkpoint Individual Logins/Registration

Law Students

Checkpoint is available to you each semester that you are enrolled. To register for a personal account for the semester go to: http://ria.thomson.com/cploginids

• Be sure to use a BU Law computer or be sure that your personal computer has been configured to use the proxy server. This is necessary so that Checkpoint recognizes as a user from BU Law.
• Once you are recognized by the Checkpoint registration page you will be sent an email with a valid Checkpoint ID
• You will need to re-register every semester.

Law Faculty

Permanent, individual passwords are available. If you do not have a password and would like one, please contact your library liaison or another reference librarian.

The first time an ID is used, the password will be the same as the ID. At initial login, customizing your ID by:

1. Typing your full name and e-mail address.
2. Selecting which newsletter e-mails you want to receive, if any.
3. Changing your password.
