Thank you for your interest in Boston University’s College of Communication (COM). Opened in 1947 as the School of Public Relations, the first U.S. school of its kind, COM is devoted to providing thorough, professional and theoretical training in every major communication discipline. Boston is the sixth largest media market in the United States, yet its size is never overwhelming, providing a big-city feel in a more manageable setting. Our classes are small, so you get to know your professors, as well as your fellow classmates.
Our application deadline for Fall 2012 has passed. We do not offer Spring admission. We will begin accepting applications for Fall 2013 in September. Our deadline is February 1st. Only applications that are completed by our deadline will be considered for admission. Please feel free to be in touch if you have any questions throughout the application process.
