Bio
Dr. Laura Mayron is a proud BU GRS alum who graduated with a PhD in Hispanic Language and Literatures in 2023. Born and raised in Maui, Hawai’i, Laura moved to the Boston area for college to study and write poetry. She is passionate about all things to do with Hispanic literature, especially the work of Federico García Lorca. When not teaching, Laura enjoys singing with Voices Rising Chorus and cuddling their cat, Static.
