Dried leaves and pumpkins and group rides, oh my!

Happy fall from the BUCK! Its been so busy here! I say that every time, but it just keeps getting busier, which means more friends are riding bikes, and more importantly, learning how to repair them! In fact, it’s so busy, if you haven’t noticed, we have expanded hours! Starting in October the BUCK will be open Thursday until 7pm. That’s right. We’re open evenings every day this fall!

Messenger Appreciation Day
Bike messengers bring us stuff in all weather, all year round! Celebrate working bikes and riders!

10/9      Thursday      5:00 – 7:00PM
Sustainable Architechture Ride
Ride along with Dennis Carlberg of Sustainability as he highlights actions the university is taking for a green future. Short, party pace ride, lots of stops. Bring your lights and your questions.

10/18       Saturday      10:00 AM
Pumpkin Patch Ride
Drew will lead riders on a 12 mi, party pace trip to our local pumpkin patch! Pick the best gourd at Allandale Farm, then load up his cargo bike and let him haul your harvest back to campus!

10/24        Friday      5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Halloween Movie Night
Join us for a terrifying train ride during the zombie apocalypse.

10/28      Tuesday      5:00 – 6:30PM
Flat Fixin’
Practice taking wheels on and off and patching tubes, so you’ll be ready to change your tubes quickly if needed, in addition to tips to flat prevention!


Thursdays:

Coffee: 8:00 – 11:00 AM
Drink coffee, make friends, talk about bikes. Sometimes screening major cycling events

Urban Cycling: 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM
