Seeing red for World Tuberculosis Day, our first in-person Practicum Fair in years, an SPH Variety Show to remember, and an exciting Accepted Students Day
The School held its first in-person Practicum Expo since 2019 and expanded the event to two fairs —virtual and in-person—across two days, says Gwenn Fairall Knox, associate director for Advising & Strategic Initiatives in the SPH Career & Practicum Office.
The fair featured 45 employers over the two sessions; Knox says they were able to help facilitate 350+ direct connections between students and hiring managers for opportunities across New England, nationally, and internationally. In followup questioning after the virtual fair, all participating employers said they connected with students that would be a good fit for current or future practicum and internship opportunities, Knox says.
