SPH Training Center Earns Awards for Online Learning

  • Despite the cold temperatures and cloudy weather, trees on campus began to bud.

  • At the Think. Teach. Do. Alumni Reception in San Fransisco on Tuesday, Dean Sandro Galea and Dean Harvey Young of the BU College of Fine Arts discussed how the intersection of art and health will improve population health.

  • Also at the Think. Teach. Do. Alumni Reception, MPH student Rafik Wahbi presented his work designing and teaching a hip-hop writing class to people in the substance use treatment unit at the Suffolk County House of Correction.

  • On Wednesday, representatives from NASA Health and Air Quality gave an overview of their funding opportunities, requirements, and resources to SPH faculty.

  • BUMC community members enjoyed the sunshine on Wednesday.

  • The Department of Community Health Sciences welcomed incoming students with a Spring Orientation Luncheon on Thursday.

  • At Spring Orientation on Thursday, Harold Cox, associate professor of community health sciences, introduced incoming students to SPH's work in neighboring communities and around the world.
