  • On Monday, MPH students Pallavi Puri (left) and Kayla Hui (right) launched their Activist Bucks-funded program, the BabySteps Initiative, which seeks to provide low-income and homeless mothers in Boston with baby supplies.

  • A volunteer at the BabySteps Initiative launch on Monday gets ready to hand out baby supplies to Boston mothers.

  • On Tuesday, students gathered for a practicum panel discussion sharing tips on searching for, interviewing for, and registering for the practicum.

  • Students met with Yvette Cozier, assistant dean of diversity and inclusion over dinner Tuesday evening.

  • Fall foliage helped keep campus bright amidst the cloudy and rainy weather.

  • On Wednesday, the Department of Community Health Sciences held a seminar to discuss building an evidence base to evaluate health policy impacts on substance use and treatment in the US.

  • Also on Wednesday, high school students from the Blackstone Community Center performed in a storytelling showcase to advocate for changes in their community. Pictured are Katie Leisener (center), the professional storyteller who worked with the students, and leaders from the Blackstone Community Center and the Activist Lab.

  • On Thursday, SPH Graduate Student Life celebrated Halloween by inviting students to paint pumpkins.
