Danielle Payne (MPH ’14) and Chiara Draghi (MPH ’15) have been named ASPPH/CDC Allan Rosenfield Global Health Fellows, joining nine other recruits in a special training program to focus on HIV surveillance.

The program is run by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It  provides training opportunities in global public health for recent graduates of accredited schools and programs of public health.

Payne, whose areas of concentration were epidemiology and global health, will be based in Malawi. Draghi, a global health concentrator, will be based in Swaziland.

The fellowships are named in honor of Allan Rosenfield, former dean of the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
