SPH Community Marches against Racism.

Students, faculty, and staff from the School of Public Health and across the Medical Campus marched on Tuesday in solidarity with black students at the University of Missouri.
“Racial and ethnic disparities are at the foundation of public health, and we do a disservice to the field when we fail to address them,” says MPH student Jessica Christian, an organizer of the “BU to Mizzou” march.
“Students and faculty have a responsibility,” she adds, to develop “a self-critical lens of their relationship with race on their campuses.”
Dozens of community members, many dressed in black, walked along Massachusetts Avenue from SPH before looping back to the Talbot Green. The march was followed by closing comments, chants, and a moment of silence.
