Mike Siegel Featured in New York Times Story on E-Cigarette Debate.
BU School of Public Health Professor Michael Siegel is featured in a front-page story in the Sunday (Feb. 23) New York Times that examines the pros and cons of e-cigarettes.
Described as “a hard-charging public health researcher,” Siegel argues in the article that opposition to electronic cigarettes, which deliver nicotine (minus the tar) to users, is misguided. He says e-cigarettes offer an alternative to conventional cigarettes that can help smokers to quit.
