Panel Discussion on the Supreme Court’s Opinions on Obamacare, Sept. 27.
BUSPH Faculty Members To Examine the Recent High Court Ruling
The Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision to uphold President Obama’s Affordable Care Act marked a major milestone in U.S. health care, sparking heated debate among policy-makers and interested citizens on both sides of the aisle. In this panel — co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society, Health Law Association and Federalist Society — BU Law and SPH professors Leonard Glantz, Wendy Mariner and Kevin Outterson will examine the case’s nuances, the justices’ varying opinions, and what the ruling ultimately means.
All—including faculty, students and the general public—are welcome to attend. The panel will take place in Barristers Hall at the BU School of Law, 765 Commonwealth Ave., from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. There will be time for Q&A following the discussion. Please contact BU Law’s Events & PR Manager, Elizabeth Aggott, with questions.
