  • Ends: 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2025
In public health, how you communicate can be just as important as what you communicate. Your physical presence, vocal delivery, and ability to connect authentically with others shape how your message is received—whether you're speaking to policymakers, peers, or the public. Join us for an engaging, in-person workshop focused on the art of presence in communication. Led by a seasoned communication coach and professional actor, this session is designed for graduate students and university staff who want to elevate their delivery and presence across diverse settings. Through interactive exercises, performance-based techniques, and real-time feedback, you’ll explore how to: · Cultivate a grounded and authentic presence that commands attention · Use body language, breath, and voice to reinforce your message · Stay present under pressure and adapt in the moment · Build trust and connection with your audience beyond words Whether you're preparing for a presentation, teaching, or community engagement, this workshop will help you embody your message and communicate with impact. No prior performance experience required—just bring your voice and your passion for public health. Register here (information about location is included): https://forms.gle/YUnwpGMssMSrFwjPA
