Support and Strength: Mental Health Resources for Navigating Graduate School Challenges – virtual.
- Starts: 5:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2025
- Ends: 6:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2025
Graduate school can be intellectually rewarding—but also emotionally challenging, especially when navigating hierarchical relationships with supervisors and instructors. This workshop offers
• a supportive space for students, staff and faculty to explore the mental health resources available at the university and
• to develop strategies for maintaining well-being in the face of toxic or imbalanced work environments and avoid burnout
• to recognize unhealthy dynamics, set boundaries, and advocate for themselves while preserving academic and professional goals
The session will include expert guidance, peer discussion, and practical tools for resilience and self-care in high-pressure academic settings.
