BUSPH Qualitative Methods Seminar.

  • Starts: 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025
  • Ends: 1:50 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025
Please join us for another engaging session! Nicole Mcann will present her dissertation progress on evaluating the MassHealth (Mass Medicaid) Flexible Services Program, which is transitioning to the Health-Related Social Needs Program. This initiative provides housing support for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness who meet certain health-based criteria, including substance use disorders. In this presentation, Nicole will share her methods and preliminary findings from in-depth qualitative key informant interviews assessing the program's implementation and impact. She will also discuss the methodological and logistical challenges encountered throughout her dissertation, offering insights that may be valuable for other students planning qualitative studies for their dissertations or broader research.

Come for the insights, stay for the discussion (and treats)!
