Make fun Japanese DIY candies while partaking in discussions. Discussion questions will be prepared in advance, which touches upon 1) cultural views on sweets and their role in diet (ex) discuss how different cultures incorporate sweets and how their ingredients reflect local diets and health trends) and 2) health impacts of sweet and sugar in different countries, such as sugar taxes, school nutritional programs).
