Practicum Panel: Policy & Advocacy.
- Starts: 5:00 pm on Monday, October 21, 2024
- Ends: 5:50 pm on Monday, October 21, 2024
Do you want your work to influence policies? Join returning students as they answer questions about their Practicum experience working with activism or public health policy including tips, tricks, and insight into the process and search. This event is intended to help first semester students, or students who have not yet begun their Practicum, but it is open to all in-person SPH students including dual degree, 4+1, and DrPH.
About the Practicum Panel Series -- The SPH Practicum Panel Series is designed to help new students learn about the Practicum experience from students who have completed their practicum. These panels allow students to hear about different certificate-based practicum, as well as those focused on Public Health Research & Data, Community-Based Work, and practicum in Federal, State & Local Government. The Career & Practicum Office hopes that, by learning from their peers, new students will better understand the Practicum process and be inspired to begin thinking about what their Practicum might look like.
