NEPHTC Webinar: Transgender Public Health in Maine Through the Lens of Tobacco Use.

This presentation gives a detailed look at the current state of public health for transgender people in Maine. Topics of interest include experiences of sexual, domestic, family, and physical violence; suicide and mental health disparities; and barriers to healthcare access across specialties. The compounded health disparities of transgender people in Maine with multiple marginalizations are examined. We will use this to discuss health outcomes through the lens of trauma and tobacco use.
