MCH Event: "Before a Breath" Documentary Screening.

  • Starts: 12:30 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025
  • Ends: 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025
Inspired by ProPublica’s groundbreaking reporting on the stillbirth crisis, which was a finalist for a 2023 Pulitzer Prize, the film is a powerful story of grief, healing and three mothers demanding that the U.S. do better by expecting parents. Through the stories of three mothers, “Before a Breath” underscores how vital it is to strengthen efforts to prevent stillbirths and to care for the families who nonetheless experience this tragic loss. This is an independently organized event inspired by reporting from ProPublica, an award-winning nonprofit newsroom. RSVP via the link provided.
