Dear Colleagues,

We will be holding another faculty development session on Building and Managing Research teams on Tuesday, December 10 at 1pm via zoom. At our November session, there was great interest and participation such that we were not able to cover all of the topics.

In this second session, I will share strategies related to topics such as managing teams, drafting and managing budgets, allowable vs. unallowable costs, and subawards (versus vendors). If there is time we will also revisit some of the topics covered in the first session, such as allocating effort, engaging co-investigators, and engaging staff and students of different levels. Brandon Ruggiero, our Assistant Director of Grants Administration and Financial Operations, will also share his perspective in addressing the research administration details related to these topics.

We are looking forward to the session and welcome all interested faculty.
