Elizabeth Hatch Receives 2012 NIH Merit Award.

Elizabeth Hatch, an associate professor of epidemiology, has received a 2012 NIH Merit Award, which honors individuals or groups whose achievements warrant special recognition.

Hatch was presented the award at the NCI Director’s Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C. on November 15 as part of a  group of researchers honored for outstanding work for the Diethylstilbestrol (DES) Follow-Up Study Team. The team was nominated by Dr. Joseph F. Fraumeni, Jr. in recognition of outstanding scientific and administrative leadership of the DES Follow-Up Study.
