Pardee School Welcomes New Student Services & Finance / Administration Staff

Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies is pleased to welcome three new staff members – two in its Student Affairs and Services and one in the Finance and Administration Office.
Alethea Cono, the newest undergraduate advisor in the Student Affairs and Services office, comes to the Pardee School from the world of public secondary education. She has taught history, civics, and psychology at Westwood High School, and at Weston High and Middle Schools. Earlier in her career, Alethea worked as Director of Community Relations at a senior living facility and in program development for the M.C. Carlos Museum of Emory University and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. Alethea holds two Master’s degrees -one in Education, from Lesley University, and one in History, from UCLA – as well as a Bachelor’s in History and French from Smith College.
Jakob (Jake) Rodriguez-Seoane will be serving as the Student Affairs and Services office coordinator for the spring semester. Jake most recently worked as a development assistant at Boston College University Advancement and as an administrative assistant at the Boston Public Health Commission. He previously attended the School of International Service at American University and is looking forward to completing his degree in the near future.
Joining the Finance and Administration Office as the Finance and Administration Associate is Andres (Andy) Gomez. Andy brings over four years of experience in finance and administration in the Private Sector and three years of experience in Higher Education. He joins us from Brandeis University’s, Heller School of Social Policy and Management. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Banking and Financial Services from Boston University MET College.
