Hare Recounts His Experience Working with Queen Elizabeth II

In an interview with the Gloucester Daily Times, Ambassador Paul Hare, Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, discussed the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and his experience working with the late monarch.
In the article, titled “For Marblehead couple, Queen Elizabeth’s death hits home,” Hare and his wife recount their personal experiences meeting and working with the Queen. He recalled Queen Elizabeth’s deep global knowledge, her impact on his life and the United Kingdom at large, and how his connections to the royal family extended to how he and his wife met. Both Hare and his wife were deeply saddened by the passing of the Queen, and when asked to comment on what the future holds under King Charles III, Hare said “it’s a totally new chapter for the country.”
