Welcoming the Pardee School Undergraduate Class of 2024

As the ongoing campaign to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic continues and demands of social distancing and self-isolation force the cancellation of all in-person gatherings at Boston University, the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies has created a virtual open house and will be hosting “virtual visits” to welcome the incoming Pardee School class of 2024.

The visits will be held on April 8 and 17, 2020 as the Pardee School and the university design programs to ‘open our doors’ to students who want to learn more about our programs during this time and learn more about our faculty, students and activities.

In a video message sent out to the incoming class, Pardee School Dean Adil Najam asked the Class of 2024 to “come and visit us; you cannot visit us physically right now, but you can visit us online.” He signed off the message by looking ahead to when the current COVID-19 crises is over, and saying, “I look forward to seeing you on campus!”

The virtual visits will allow students and parents to learn more about courses, programs, activities, and options available at the Pardee School and how our faculty and students are fulfilling the school mission of ‘advancing human progress.’ The virtual Open House website provides a one-stop clearing house of information  Visitors will be shown information about our various undergraduate majors and about student opportunities available through the Pardee School. Participants to the virtual visits will have the opportunity to ask questions and to interact virtually with future BU classmates.
