Najam Delivers Mahbub-ul-Haq Lecture on Human Development

Adil Najam, Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, delivered the 34th annual Mahbub-ul-Haq lecture hosted by the Pakistan Society of Development Economists (PSDE) on December 12, 2018 in Islamabad, Pakistan. 

Najam delivered a lecture entitled “Bringing Human Development Back to Pakistan,” that focused on a range of topics including making female education and basic health services priorities of human development in Pakistan.

PSDE aims to strengthen the process of the evolution of scientific knowledge by providing a forum for an exchange of ideas on development economics by facilitating research, organizing seminars, collaborating with national and international organizations and conferring awards on scholars for contributions to the field of development economics.
