Keylor Hosted by French Consul General for Talk on WWI
William Keylor, Professor Emeritus of International Relations and History at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, gave a recent talk on the ways in which the first World War has been treated in colleges and universities in the United States.
Keylor was hosted for the talk by the Consul General of France in Boston, Arnaud Mentré, during which he outlined the seminar he conducted at the Pardee School for several years on the same subject.
William Keylor served four consecutive terms as Chairman of the Department of History at Boston University (1988-2000) and has been Director of the International History Institute since 1999. At Boston University, he has received the Metcalf Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Methodist Scholar-Teacher Award.
