Video: Fun Facts About the Pardee School

The Boston University Alumni Association released a June 26, 2018 video outlining fun and interesting facts about the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University.

Some of the facts from the video include:

  • There are roughly 10,000 alumni of the Pardee School
  • You can find Pardee alumni living in more than 100 countries
  • The school has more than 40 study abroad programs on six continents
  • Up to 70 percent of Pardee undergraduates will study abroad for at least one semester

The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies is Boston University’s newest school—and it draws on some of BU’s proudest traditions. It brings together the University’s venerable Department of International Relations—as well as a number of area studies and thematic programs—to offer nine graduate degree programs, two graduate certificates five undergraduate majors, and eight undergraduate minors to our student population of nearly 1,000.

Our outstanding faculty, including 40 core professors and some 200 affiliated faculty members, are leading scholars and practitioners with a passion for effective teaching and policy-relevant research. Collectively, we seek to advance global human progress by shaping peace that lasts, development that works, and knowledge that transforms.
