Pardee School Welcomes Students to Campus
The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University welcomed its undergraduate and graduate students back to campus on September 12, 2017 with a cookout on the lawn across from 121 Bay State Road.
The event allowed Pardee School students and faculty with similar academic interests to get to know one another in an informal setting over hamburgers, hotdogs and an ice cream sundae bar.
Guests also had an opportunity to learn more about the Pardee School through speaking with undergraduate student advisers, meeting Pardee School faculty and hearing from members of Pardee-School affiliated organizations like the Boston University International Affairs Association, Global Development Community, the Pardee Graduate Council and Delta Phi Epsilon — the new academic fraternity and sorority at Pardee.
The Pardee School offers five undergraduate majors, eight undergraduate minors, six MA programs and a five-year BA/MA program. At the school’s 2017 convocation ceremony, 207 undergraduates and 45 graduate students joined the more than 9,000 alumni from programs currently under the purview of the Pardee School.
