Wippl Interviewed on Washington Counterterrorism Gathering
Joseph Wippl, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was recently interviewed on the Trump administrations strategy to combat the Islamic State, as well as the political opportunity presented by the upcoming meeting of the Global Coalition to Counter ISIS, a 68-nation coalition formed in 2014 by former U.S. President Barack Obama.
Wippl was quoted in a March 21, 2017 story in Deutsche Welle entitled “Washington Counterterrorism Gathering Highlights ‘IS’ Fight and Iran.”
