Woodward Speaks on Intelligence Challenges

John D. Woodward Jr., Professor of the Practice of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, was the featured speaker at a seminar hosted by the Nutter McClennen & Fish Law firm in Boston on on February 16, 2017.

Woodward spoke on the topic “Here Be Dragons: Emerging Threats and Challenges for the U.S. in 2017.” In his talk, he examined the current controversy leading to the abrupt resignation of the National Security Advisor, the ongoing concerns posed by North Korea with its significant nuclear and missile capabilities and regime instability, and the growing global threat emerging with respect to the proliferation of biological weapons.
Michael K. Krebs (LAW ’85), the Chairman of Nutter’s Business Department who moderated John’s talk, expressed his appreciation, noting “Professor Woodward provided a timely, engaging, and thought provoking presentation on the current global state of play.”
