She holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Administration from Boston College and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Economics in the Digital Environment through the University of Dubrovnik in collaboration with the University of Zagreb. Prior to academia, she worked in marketing, operations, and organizational roles, shaping her practical, real-world approach to teaching.
She enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds and is particularly interested in how emerging technologies, including AI, are transforming business and education. Tomic is actively engaged in academic service and mentoring. She currently serves as a board member for the 8th International Conference on Management and Organization (ICMO–MAOM). She is also a proud first-generation college student and a member of BU’s Terrier F1RST Advocates and the Gamma Iota Chapter of the Tri-Alpha National Honor Society.
