Boston University’s Joseph Spada Named Plenary Speaker for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s 21st Annual Paralegal Conference
April 2019, Boston—Joseph P. Spada, Esq., director of the Paralegal Studies program at Boston University’s Center for Professional Education (CPE), has been invited to serve as plenary speaker at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) 21st Annual Paralegal Conference on June 11, 2019, in Boston.
Gathering some of Massachusetts’ most distinguished paralegals and attorneys, the MCLE conference is a resource for industry professionals, and provides the opportunity for attendees to become familiar with the latest field developments in the field as well as hone skills in multiple areas of practice. Mr. Spada’s plenary session will address “The Power to Frame an Issue.”
In addition to his role as director of Paralegal Studies, Mr. Speda instructs CPE’s Legal Research and Legal Writing and Reasoning course. Previously, he spent 20 years as a federal staff attorney with the Honorable Lawrence P. Cohen at the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
