Daniel Ranalli

Associate Professor Emeritus, Arts Administration

Professor Emeritus Daniel Ranalli founded the Master of Science in Arts Administration in 1993, and served as director of the program through spring 2014. He has extensive experience as an arts administrator, curator, art critic, and gallery director, and has worked as a consultant to the National Endowment for the Arts and numerous state arts councils developing programs for artist support. Ranalli’s own work as an artist  is in the permanent collections of more than twenty-five museums in the US and abroad including the Museum of Modern Art (NY), Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Smithsonian National Gallery of American Art. Ranalli has participated in over one hundred and thirty solo and group shows throughout the U.S. and abroad. For a dozen years he wrote on arts issues for several regional and national publications.

Ranalli has also served on the Board of Trustees and on the Education and Collections Committees of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum.
