The degree conferral date for official Summer Graduates is the 25th of August each year.*
The degree conferral date for official Fall Graduates is the Friday before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January each year.**
The degree conferral date for official Spring Graduates is the Sunday of May Spring Commencement Weekend.
January, May, and August graduates are invited to attend the Boston University Commencement ceremony held each year in May (for more detailed information please visit the University’s Commencement website):
