Professor Jared Weinstein wins Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship

Professor Jared Weinstein has won an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship in Mathematics. This Fellowship recognizes Jared for his research in number theory, specifically for his pioneering work in automorphic representation theory. Within this discipline, he has made major advances to the local approaches in class field theory.  

Graduate Student awarded NSF GK–12 Fellowship

AMS Announces Mass Media Fellowship Award

The American Mathematical Society (AMS) is pleased to announce that Baldur Hedinsson has been awarded its 2009 Mass Media Fellowship. Baldur is a PhD student in mathematics at Boston University.
