Peyton Tierney

ENG’21, CAMED’31 Medical and PhD Student

My name is Peyton Tierney and I’m a current MD-PhD student at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. I am originally from Portland, OR but have been in Boston for the last 6 years, first pursuing my bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University, than working as a research technician at the Harris Orthopedics Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital for a couple years before starting my graduate studies. My academic interests lie in the fields of microbiology, virology, infectious disease, and therapeutics development. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing board games, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
