Manuela  Isaza

Pardee/CAS’29 International Relations and Economics

My name is Manuela Isaza. I am from Medellin, Colombia, and I am currently pursuing a double major in Economics and International Relations in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Pardee School of Global Studies, and I am a member of the Kilachand Honors College. I am in the Class of 2029. I am very excited to be part of the ambassador program for prospective Kilachand students and hope to meet many new students. Being an international student and moving so far from home, I understand how scary it can be to go to college. Still, at the same time, I know that it’s such an amazing opportunity that is definitely worth it. On campus, I am involved with the BU Student Government under the Executive Branch, currently working with Academic Affairs. Being part of the Student Government has been such a rewarding experience, and I’ve been able to connect with both students and faculty. I am also part of the BU Fusion Dance Team, so if anyone is interested in joining a dance team or pursuing a sport, just know it’s such a fun and amazing possibility. Kilachand has played a really important role in helping me ease into being a student at BU, and I am so grateful for the people I’ve met and the community that KHC offers. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
