Lilu Trondowski
CAS ‘27 Comparative Literature
Hello! My name is Lilu Trondowski (she/her) and I am pursing a double major in Comparative Literature and Spanish with a minor in Anthropology. I am from New York City and have lived there my whole life, but my entire family is Polish so I grew up in a bilingual household and travel to Poland frequently. I am also on the Pre-Law track and plan to attend Law School.
Since joining the BU community in the fall of 2023, I have taken part in several clubs and activities on and off campus. I am a current writer for the Boston Political Review, BU’s online student political newspaper, a member of BU’s Ski and Snowboard Club, and member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Last spring I tutored three middle school students in math and English in Brookline, a perfect part-time job that was easy to incorporate into my schedule. I am currently undergoing the onboarding process at ABCD through Allies for Immigrants, where I will be a volunteer tutor for immigrant families in Boston as they strive to learn English.
I have truly felt my BU experience to be enhanced by being a part of the Kilachand community. In the Honors College, I have an ideal balance between the social, academic, and personal spheres of a University. Both my first and second semester seminar courses have been incredibly fruitful additions to my BU curriculum, the second of which inspired me to take on my Anthropology minor. Kilachand has introduced me to a wonderful group of professors and friends, and I look forward to welcoming a new group of peers next fall!
