Faith  Sheehan

Questrom ‘27 Business

Hi! My name is Faith Sheehan (she/her) and I am currently a sophomore majoring in Business, but planning to switch to Education! I am from Long Island, NY but grew up in Queens, NY. In my free time, I love to watch I Love Lucy, scrapbook, watch the BU hockey games, and explore Boston with my friends!

On campus, I am a team lead within the Guerrilla Marketing Society, as well as a member of the BU Helping Hands for the Homeless! Me and my friends will also occasionally attend the BU Board Games Club meetings on Thursdays to play Settlers of Catan!

Moving to Boston from NY was definitely a big change, but it was such a great opportunity for a fresh start. I love being in a city that isn’t too overwhelming and with so much to explore! BU itself has taught me so much about myself but KHC offered a community that helped make the transition to college so seamless! Living and learning with other first years from a range of majors introduced me to so many interesting people who were so passionate about what they do and so excited to be a part of KHC just like I was. The seminar I am currently taking through KHC, (RH103 A Reexamination of Childhood through Children’s Literature and Community-Based Learning) actually helped me to realize I wanted to switch my major to Education! We are learning about how the stories, fairy tales, and novels we read growing up have influenced the beliefs and conceptions we have to this day and are involving ourselves within the Boston community through a community-based learning project. KHC has offered such a welcoming community and refreshing learning environment for me and I would love to be of help to anyone considering to be a part of it, so please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have!
