Hi, I’m Emerson Drake (she/her) from Philadelphia, PA! I’m in the class of 2027, majoring in public relations in the College of Communications with a minor in earth & environmental sciences. In my free time, I love window shopping on Newbury with friends, finding new restaurants to explore in Boston, or watching a good rom-com!
On campus, I am an event coordinator and campus writer for The Buzz, BU’s lifestyle magazine. Additionally, I serve as the philanthropy chairwoman for the Delta chapter of Gamma Phi Beta and as a member of Omega Phi Alpha, the service sorority at BU. When I’m not in class, you can probably find me volunteering somewhere around campus!
Being part of the Kilachand community made my transition from a small high school to BU so much smoother. The small class sizes, supportive advisors, and friendships I’ve built in the Kilachand dorm have truly shaped my college experience.
