Petition for Exception to the KHC HC 401 Course Requirement

Effective Fall 2025, KHC HC 401: Epistemologies and the Process of Inquiry will no longer be a Kilachand Honors College course requirement. Kilachand students in the Class of 2026 (juniors) who have not previously taken HC 401 and do not plan to take the course in Spring 2025 must submit the petition below to be waived from the HC 401 requirement.

As a student in Kilachand’s Class of 2026, I request a waiver of the KHC HC 401 course requirement by submitting my information below. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to identify alternative ways to fulfill the Hub areas Quantitative Reasoning II, Research and Information Literacy, and Teamwork/Collaboration, as needed for my degree progress.
