Student Spotlight – Hanna Dworkin
Kilachand sophomore Hanna Dworkin (CAS’24) painted a gift that will be presented to Dr. Kilachand in Abu Dhabi, where he is the host of BU’s International Advisory Board Meeting.

About Hanna Dworkin:
Hello! My name is Hanna Dworkin. I am a sophomore in KHC majoring in economics, political science and philosophy on a pre-law track. I am originally from Chicago. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. In my free time I am involved in Student Government on campus and I also run my own art business. Since 2016, I’ve shipped over 100 works of art to 8 different countries, and I’ve had my work hung in the United States Capitol Building in Washington, DC.
Kilachand has undoubtedly been the highlight of my college experience thus far. Compared to the rigid structure of my econ courses and the intimidation of political science lecture halls, the small, interdisciplinary communities created in my Kilachand classes have allowed me to flourish. Furthermore, I have met some of my best friends from Kilachand. It is truly amazing to be a part of a community filled with such bright, diverse, and curious students.
Interview with Director Carrie Preston and Hanna Dworkin:
Hanna spoke briefly with Professor Preston about her inspiration for the painting and Hanna’s experiences in Kilachand Honors College.
