Olivia Lizza

Manager of Academic Advising & Student Events

Olivia Lizza is the Manager of Academic Advising & Student Events at Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration. After graduating from SHA in 2023, she participated in the Disney College Program at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where she gained hands-on experience in hospitality operations. She then returned to BU as Alumni & Events Specialist for SHA before advancing into her current role, where she supports students academically and builds community through events.

Olivia is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Project Management at Boston University. She is passionate about helping students find their home at BU and understands the unique transitions they navigate when joining SHA. As a student herself, Olivia co-chaired the 2022 Hospitality Leadership Summit and studied abroad in Paris, experiences that fueled her love for hospitality and higher education.

If she could give her students one piece of advice, it would be to take advantage of everything SHA has to offer: attend bonding events like SHAgiving and New Student Experiences, study abroad, and step outside of your comfort zone on a Service Learning trip. In her free time, Olivia enjoys reading, watching reality TV, and cooking for friends and family.
