Melanie Isola

Melanie Isola (SHA ’14) is a hospitality instructional design strategist living in Marina del Rey, CA. After almost eight years in restaurant operations at Hillstone Restaurant Group, along with two smaller groups in the Los Angeles area, she received her Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from Cal State Fullerton. Since leaving restaurant operations, she has worked for multiple hospitality technology startups in various roles; such as Chief of Staff and Corporate Solutions Architect.  

Melanie is motivated by helping operators create efficient and sustainable businesses to the benefit of all stakeholders. At the intersection of people, training, technology, and data her pursuit of holistic and aligned operating initiatives are in support of hospitality professionals, and the industry at large.
