“The best thing about the MMH Program was the Internship component. While classroom learning and simulations can be extremely beneficial, they can only teach you so much. To be able to apply classroom teachings to my internship experience was extremely rewarding. I was able to process situations I encountered at my internship in the classroom setting, allowing me to develop solutions for how to approach similar situations in the future. For me personally, my internship was my first time gaining direct Hospitality Industry experience. Through my role, I was able to determine what parts of the industry I liked and, equally important, what part I didn’t like. The Internship component truly helped me realign my career goals and I am better for it.”
