Aury Chavez

As a Mexico City native raised in Austin, Texas, my life has always revolved around the integration of cultures and identities. Now, I am a First-Generation Senior studying at Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration. Throughout my life, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial drive. During my time at BU, I founded 2 ventures, one of which climbed to the semifinals of Boston University’s $50K Innovation Competition.

While my current major is Hospitality Administration with a concentration in Commercial Real Estate Development (CRED) and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, I have completed 4 12+ week-long internships stretching from Human Resources to Food & Beverage and Marketing Communications. Each of these internships has allowed me to solidify my love for being a People Leader, with a fiery desire to connect with everyone on a human level and help them find a sense of belonging.
