Andrew Dwyer

Director of Career Services & Employer Relations

Before joining the School of Hospitality Administration (SHA) as the Director of Career Services, Andrew has been dedicated to supporting students’ career development since 2016. He began his career at Bottom Line, an educational non-profit assisting first-generation college students, where he served as a Career and Success Advisor. Andrew then transitioned to Laboure College of Healthcare as the Career Development Coordinator, advising students before moving to Boston University College of Engineering as the Assistant Director for Career Advising and Employer Engagement. These experiences allowed Andrew to work with students from diverse backgrounds and identities.

Having personally faced the challenges of career uncertainty post-college, Andrew understands the immense value of career services. This insight fueled his passion for helping students navigate their career paths. His favorite aspects of his role are helping students align their passions with various career opportunities and creating networking platforms for students to connect with employers and professionals.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys running, hiking, and reading. As an avid Cleveland Guardians fan, he hopes to see them win a World Series in his lifetime. Feel free to schedule an appointment for any career-related questions. Andrew is excited to meet you and support your career journey.
