Ama Romaine

Ama Romaine is Executive Vice President & General Counsel at Progress Residential, the nation’s largest single-family rental (SFR) management company where she is responsible for legal, compliance, risk management and government affairs.

Before joining Progress, Ama held in various positions with increasing responsibility in the hospitality industry and across the Blackstone portfolio, she served as Vice President & Senior Counsel for Brands at Hilton Worldwide, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at G6 Hospitality, the parent company for the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, then as the Global General Counsel of Real Estate Asset Management at Blackstone. Ms. Romaine also served as the General Counsel & Head of Risk Management at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.

Ama is from Toronto by way of Trinidad, enjoys all things Caribbean, travel and Peloton.
