UNDERGRADUATE ACADEMIC ADVISING

Academic advising is integral to the teaching mission of Boston University. Connecting with an advisor engages students in the collaborative process of exploring academic and co-curricular opportunities as part of a plan to realize academic, career, and life goals. The Director of Student Services is the primary source of academic advising support for undergraduates at the School of Hospitality Administration. SHA students should meet with a faculty advisor and/or the Director of Student Services at least once a semester and during registration to discuss any applicable academic issues, such as: course planning degree requirements minor and concentration choices concerns about academic performance study abroad options adjustment and personal issues. To schedule an appointment with the School of Hospitality Administration Director of Student Services, please make an appointment via Handshake. If you are not a SHA student, you may email Molly-Kate Carven, Director of Student Services at mkcarven@bu.edu.
