Student Health Services at Boston University
Student Health Services (SHS) is a center designed to help meet the health care needs of all students/residents while they are at Boston University. SHS helps to address students’ immediate and ongoing health care needs.
Services offered:
- Primary Care
- Sports Medicine
- Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) (by appointment or on emergency basis)
- Satellite office also located on the Boston University Medical Campus
- Crisis Intervention Counselors
- Wellness & Prevention Services
- Athletic Training Services
All full-time GSDM students and residents are allowed to use Student Health Services, regardless of the insurance you carry.
Patient Connect
Patient Connect is an online health portal for all BU students and residents. It is a convenient and secure way to manage your health and communication with BU Student Health Services online.
Patient Connect allows you to:
- Schedule and cancel your appointments
- Review test results and medical histories
- Renew prescriptions
- Send messages to your health care provider
- Send messages to SHS Front Desk staff, Referral Coordinator, and Insurance Coordinator
- Complete and upload forms
